I love paper! And I especially love Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers! So much, that I usually stock up on my favorites before they retire. But, I do try to make sure I use it up!
September is the beginning of my holiday crafting events. My first holiday card buffet is coming later this month and I need to start prepping early. These events are great for using up my retired DSP while I start stocking up new favorites!
When I pulled my retired Halloween DSP out of the closet and went through it, I couldn’t help but immediately realize I needed to make a card using the Spooky Night DSP (from the 2017 Holiday Catalog) with the owl in the new Still Night bundle in the 2018 Holiday Catalog.
Here is what I came up with:
I also decided to add a twist and use the “’tis the season’ to mean the Halloween season. Is that weird? Whatever, I like it! Such a great owl!
The Black Rhinestones are another retired item from the 2017 Holiday Catalog that I have a few left of. But with the new Basic Black Stampin’ Blends marker in the 2018 Holiday Catalog, you can make your own black rhinestones with the Basic Rhinestones that are currently available.
This card is one of the many reasons why I love Stampin’ Up! It is easy to mix the new with old favorites!
Thanks for stopping by!
