I made today’s card with a very special person in mind. She is a very loving and giving young woman and I wanted to let her know how special she is.
I took a piece of the gorgeous Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper and cut out the butterfly using the Springtime Impressions die set. I then attached the pretty paper with the butterfly cut out to a card base made of So Saffron card stock.
I then took another piece of the same DSP, flipped it to the coordinating design on the back side and cut out the butterfly again. I added glue dots to the body of the butterfly and attached it to the card front over the butterfly cut out. I lifted the wings, bending the paper slightly at the body so the wings stick out.
The inside sentiment is from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set. I love this sentiment, I think I’m going to wear it out, I seem to use it a lot. The flowers are from the Abstract Impressions stamp set. This is such a versatile stamp set!
The sentiment on the card front is from the Watercolor Wings stamp set (now retired), stamped on Whisper White card stock and punched out using the Everyday Label punch. I then trimmed it down.
Thanks for stopping by!
