Today’s post is all about my June retired product spotlight – Seaside Shore. This stamp set just retired, but it is new to me. I don’t know what took me so long to notice this set but I think it has something to do with the new Sea of Textures bundle. It’s got me obsessed with marine life!
Here is my first card using Seaside Shore:
Of course I “needed” the Designer Series Paper that was originally released with this stamp set. After a bit of searching online, I am now the proud owner of the By the Shore DSP. I quickly cut some of it up and it is shown on my card here.
My fish are all stamped with three of the new SU colors – Blueberry Bushel, Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron. How cute is that stitched circle from the new Stitched Labels Framelits? And the Grapefruit Grove twine is from the new Nature’s Twine pack. Isn’t it great how the old plays well with the new?
This is another retirement card, so I used a sentiment from the newly retired stamp set Wild About Flowers. This set has great sentiments for retirement cards.
That’s it for now. Look for more projects using Seaside Shore during the month of June!
Thanks for stopping by!
